If you’ve ever ridden with a friend or relative who doesn’t have a car mount or mobile data service for turn-by-turn directions, there’s a new cell phone case that will come in handy. Zuna’s Drive cell phone case attaches to a car’s air vent slots so the driver (or the passenger) can see the phone while still looking at the road ahead.
The rugged-looking Zuna Drive case has a built-in mounting clip on the back that attaches your phone to any horizontal air conditioning vent, with no additional attachments. To attach the Zuna Drive, you just release the clip hook and slide it into the vent slots where you can easily see your phone display. To remove it, simply lift the hook and lift your phone.
Zuna Drive for Android phones coming soon
Right now the Zuna Drive is only available for iPhone 6, iPhone6+, and iPhone 5/5s; but Zuna plans to release a Drive case for Samsung Galaxy S phones later this year. The product weighs just a few ounces and comes in four colors: white, black, blue, and orange.
The Zuna Drive normally sells for US $40, which is a bit on the high side of the non-ruggedized or non-designer case market, but the company is currently offering a 20 percent off deal that brings the cost down to $32. The case is only available from Zuna.com.
