If you’re a Star Wars fan, you’ll want to check out the new “Star Wars: Assault Team” for Android, iOS and Windows devices, just launched by Disney and LucasArts. The turn-based combat game combines character cards with live battles set between “Star Wars: Episode IV, A New Hope” and “Star Wars: Episode V, The Empire Strikes Back.”
To build and customize your team, you can collect hundreds of upgradable character cards such as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Boba Fett, Tusken Raiders, and more. Each hero has unique stats, abilities, and attacks to increase the team’s overall strength. You can also train, improve and strategically deploy each of your character’s special attacks.
Your mission for control of the galaxy could be to infiltrate the enemy fleet, find the Wookiee resistance, survive street ambushes on Mos Espa, and battle on planets like Tatooine and Kashyyyk. You can fight as a team and in player-on-player combat, where you can win extra rewards.
Star Wars: Assault Team is now available on the App Store, Google Play, Windows Phone Store and Windows Store; and will be coming soon to the Amazon Appstore. Although the game is free, you can upgrade your character cards with in-app purchases.
