If you’ve had your eye on the Moto X or LG G2 Android phones but held off, Amazon is hoping to win you over with discounted pricing. Since being unveiled in August and on sale for less than two months, both phones have dropped in price and can now be ordered from Amazon for $100 or less, with a two-year carrier contract.
Motorola’s Moto X is the company’s first flagship phone since being acquired last year by Google, and the hype around its release was tempered by mostly good–but not amazing–reviews. The Moto X is a colorful, upper mid-range phone with a few high-end features, similar to the new iPhone 5c.
The Moto X is apparently selling well, and you can now snag the 16GB version on Amazon for as low as $80 on Sprint, $130 on Verizon and $140 on AT&T. You can also opt for a new unlocked version for $620.
LG’s top-of-the-line flagship, the G2, competes with the likes of the Galaxy S4 and HTC One. It started shipping in September for $200 on contract and is already selling on Amazon at half that, starting at $100 on Verizon and $150 on AT&T for the 32GB handset. You can also get the unlocked version for around $600.
Both phones are good deals at these prices right now, but if you don’t mind waiting another five or six weeks, it’s likely that prices will drop even lower with upcoming holiday sales.
