SCHAUMBURG, Ill.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ISACA will host the first-ever ISACA Conference North America next month, a new event focused on emerging technologies, innovation and best practices. Held virtually from 4-6 May 2021, the event features expanded topics and learning formats for business technology professionals as they navigate the transformational roles they play in their organizations.
First-ever ISACA Conference
ISACA Conference North America offers sessions ranging from 25-75 minutes in length and provides the opportunity to earn up to 21 continuing professional education (CPE) credits. The conference tracks focus on IT audit, risk, cybersecurity, governance, information security, capability and maturity models, privacy, and emerging technologies.
The virtual sessions will be presented live via ISACA’s conference platform, and many will feature a live Q&A with speakers. Attendees will have extended access to the sessions and content so that they may view them at their own pace. Session topics include artificial intelligence, machine learning, remote team management, cloud compliance, blockchain, 5G security, the evolving privacy landscape, post-quantum cryptography, CMMI v2.0 appraisal and more.
Opening keynote speaker Sebastian Terry, founder of the 100 Things philanthropic movement, author and TV host, will use storytelling and psychology principles to inspire attendees’ personal achievement and goal setting for their organizations. Astronaut, performance specialist and technology futurist Leroy Chiao, Ph.D., will share provocative and awe-inspiring stories from his space missions, and explain how lessons learned from operational spaceflight can impact organizations. Michelle Poler, founder of the viral Hello Fears movement, will close the virtual event with her keynote on challenging your comfort zone to tap into your full potential.
One In Tech, an ISACA Foundation, will host two interactive workshops with speaker Rachel Williams, head of equity, inclusion & diversity at X, the moonshot factory, titled “Diversity in Last Place: Getting to the Real Business Case for Equity and Inclusion.” These will explore case studies of corporate diversity efforts and firsthand accounts of the impacts. Participants will be guided through exercises to build their own initiatives and predict outcomes.
ISACA Conference North America is a new comprehensive event that encompasses the topics previously found at ISACA events like CACS, CSX and CMMI Capability Counts.
