Hexnode MDM simplifies device management by providing a user-centric approach to management, unlike other vendors, and by reducing the number of clicks needed to enroll and manage devices. Hexnode MDM offers a wide range of features, including:
Easier Enrollment: Enroll devices using multiple enrollment methods, including normal and bulk enrollments. Scan a QR code to enroll, self-enroll by integrating with Active Directory or pre-enroll users to have them managed even before they are actually enrolled. Send an SMS or an email to a users’ device, where they can enroll from the link provided within. Easily deploy bulk devices with Samsung’s Knox Mobile Enrollment (KME) and Google’s Zero Touch Enrollment.
Policies and Configuration: Configure password, WiFi, VPN, ActiveSync, CalDav, CardDav, access point and credentials for the users and push them to their device. Restrict them from accessing apps and other device features to ensure the security of the corporate data.
Mobile Application Management (MAM): Install and blacklist/whitelist apps on a device, push apps silently onto devices, and set mandatory apps and app catalogs for managed devices.
Kiosk Management: This is not just setting up the device as a kiosk — it’s far more than that. Supported on both Android and iOS devices, Hexnode MDM allows administrators to manage apps and device settings and decide whether to allow users to access device features. (See adjacent example image.)
Another feature included is Website Kiosk settings, which enables both single and multi-tabbed browsing in kiosk mode via Hexnode Browser, and blocks unwanted URLs. Advanced Website Kiosk settings provide additional options for web view to build a perfect website kiosk.
Location tracking and geofencing: Tracks every path the device was on and saves them for the administrator’s reference. This feature enables the users to easily determine where and when the devices are being used. Geofencing sets up a virtual fence and restricts the use of the device outside the specified region.
Manage notifications: Hexnode MDM can notify you via email of every action performed from the Hexnode MDM portal. The admin can also choose to turn off the notifications from the portal.
DEP and VPP: Integrate Hexnode MDM with Apple DEP and skip the initial setup steps of iOS devices, or turn on supervision. VPP integration allows the users to purchase apps in bulk and distribute them to users via MDM.
Multiple admins and roles: Multiple technicians can take the role of an administrator, a reports manager, or an apps and reports manager; and can manage users on different perspectives.
Reporting: Hexnode MDM keep track of every action performed in the system, be it app installs, location and compliance info, or related to the configuration pushed to the device. Every report is categorized for ease of reference.
