BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Cohealo, a platform for health systems to track and share medical equipment, today announced that Tom Cady will join Cohealo’s leadership team as chief operating officer. With over 30 years of experience at multiple high-growth healthcare technology companies, Cady brings unmatched expertise in scaling professional services, operations, and customer success functions. Cady previously served on the leadership teams at athenahealth and CareCloud where he directed more than 2,500 platform implementations worth $1B in annual recurring revenue for the hospital and health system segments.
“Tom brings incredible knowledge and a track record of success in championing team culture, building repeatable processes, and profitably growing product adoption within complex, highly matrixed healthcare organizations,” said Todd Rothenhaus, Cohealo’s chief executive officer. “The COVID-19 pandemic has necessitated that health systems re-evaluate traditional approaches to purchasing expensive medical equipment and supplies. As we enter an inflection point in hospital supply chain, Tom joins Cohealo as we expand to meet the needs of our international portfolio of health system customers. We are thrilled to have him on the team.”
Cady most recently held the position of general manager of the revenue cycle services business unit at Kareo, a healthcare IT company, where he oversaw all strategic and day-to-day operations, leading to a dramatic turnaround and acquisition in 2020. Prior to this role, Cady served as vice president of professional services at athenahealth, where he grew the team from 23 to 300 employees, expanded recurring revenue over 500%, and transformed employee onboarding and retention. While at CareCloud, Cady doubled quarterly revenue implemented in nine months while slashing implementation cycle times by 20%.
“I’ve spent my entire career helping healthcare IT organizations scale for massive growth. It’s an honor to be a part of Cohealo and to bring this exceptional product to health systems across the country at such an important time in our industry,” said Tom Cady, chief operating officer of Cohealo.
