Apple today released the sixth beta version of iOS 7 to developers for testing purposes, less than two weeks after the release of Beta 5. Apple notes on the iOS Developer Center that Beta 6 fixes a bug in the previous beta with iTunes in the Cloud, “where some purchases may download or play unexpected items.”
The update — build 11A4449d — is available as an over-the-air update to existing beta testers and it can also be downloaded via Apple’s Developer Center.
Apple will likely release iOS 7 next month, just a few days before the launch of the next iPhone. Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 5S — and possibly also a cheaper iPhone “5C” — on September 10th. Following Apple tradition, the new devices will then be available for sale about two weeks later.
