Apple has confirmed several recent product leaks and announced a 128GB version of its fourth generation iPad, available for both the Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + Cellular models. The new 128GB version offers twice the storage of the 64GB models, so you won’t have to worry about running out of on-device space to store all of your files, media, and apps.
The fourth generation iPad, which was announced last October, has a 9.7-inch Retina display, Apple-designed A6X chip, FaceTime HD camera, and iOS 6.1, which supports “4G” LTE networks. The latest version of iOS also lets you download individual songs to any of your iOS devices from iCloud, if you are an iTunes Match subscriber.
The new 128GB versions of the fourth generation iPad will be available starting Tuesday, February 5, in black or white, and will retail for $799 US for the iPad with Wi-Fi model and $929 for the iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular model. All versions of the 128GB iPad will be sold through the Apple Store online, Apple retail stores, and select resellers.
