Former Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated & Backstop Solutions Group Chief People Officer brings nearly two decades of Human Resources leadership with plans to build upon SpotHero’s values and culture

CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#SpotHero–SpotHero, the digital parking leader in North America, today announces the hire of Beth Hayden as Chief People Officer. In this role, Hayden will grow SpotHero’s values, culture and talent strategy as a member of SpotHero’s Senior Leadership Team.

“As SpotHero enters our tenth year, we look ahead to our next decade of growth,” said SpotHero Co-Founder & CEO Mark Lawrence. “Beth’s leadership style and diverse experience make her the perfect person to steward our next chapter. I know she will accelerate our vision while continuing to build upon our culture and values.”

Hayden is a Human Resources veteran with a track record for being at the forefront developing leaders, recruiting talent and engaging employees. She has led teams at companies of varying size and scale, including JLL, Backstop and most recently Q-Centrix. During her time at JLL, Hayden’s work in commercial real estate served as a lens into the parking industry and the value SpotHero brings to commercial parking asset owners and operators.

“SpotHero’s core values of driving growth, fueling relationships and respecting fellow drivers are all virtues that I believe in on a personal level,” said Hayden. “It is this shared vision, and the phenomenal team at SpotHero, that drove me toward this opportunity. I look forward to fostering growth opportunities for our employees and company for many years to come.”

In addition to Hayden’s work experience, she is a member of the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago, or HRMAC, and has participated in long-term service with YWCA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Additionally, she earned a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University.

Hiring Hayden builds upon SpotHero’s recent momentum, including acquiring Toronto-based Rover Parking, raising a $50 million Series D and earning recognition as a Best Place to Work three years in a row by Built In Chicago. SpotHero is currently hiring talent in Chicago, Toronto and across the United States for its People and Engineering teams.
