BRAINTREE, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#ACH–Invoice Cloud, a provider of trusted, secure e-payments and the highest adopting Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) solutions, today announced the launch of a philanthropic program to help its billers establish charitable funds to support COVID-19 response and recovery efforts in their respective communities.

Through the end of 2020, Invoice Cloud will absorb ACH (electronic check) service fees on donations made through the Invoice Cloud online payment platforms used by its billers during the health crisis. Invoice Cloud’s Client Services team has mobilized to assist billers, at no cost, in setting up new donations pages or adding the option to donate to the regular bill payment checkout process.

“As the coronavirus crisis began to unfold, we looked for ways that we could have a positive impact in communities across the country,” said Bob Lapides, president of Invoice Cloud. “By absorbing ACH (electronic check) fees on donations made through our clients’ platforms, we are making it easier for billers to leverage our technology and harness the power of charitable giving to support first responders, health care workers and families in their communities.”

Several longtime Invoice Cloud clients, including the City of Boston, the Town of Bedford, Mass., and the City of Cambridge, Mass., have created COVID-19 emergency relief funds supported by Invoice Cloud’s online infrastructure.

Invoice Cloud has also made donations to the Boston Resiliency Fund, which is supporting city residents most affected by the coronavirus, and the United Way Covid-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund, which will help the most vulnerable populations receive critical financial and social support during the crisis.
