MobileVillage does not collect any personally identifiable information about its users or visitors without their permission.

Users are free to visit MobileVillage, and navigate all of its pages, without any user registration.

Personal User Information for Go Mobile® Newsletter Subscriptions

When subscribing to Go Mobile®, MobileVillage's free twice-monthly email newsletter, readers are asked to provide their email address, which is used only for sending Go Mobile content from MobileVillage, including: 1) the Go Mobile newsletter; 2) the monthly Go Mobile Editor's Pick; and 3) occasional announcements, usually once or twice per year, about upcoming MobileVillage hosted events that may interest its readership.

Subscribers are also asked to provide the following general demographic information: company name, job title, country of residence, state/province (US or Canada residents only), and postal code (US or Canada residents only). This general information is used to help us 1) understand what kind of content you would be interested in, as discerned by your company and job title; and 2) to help MobileVillage and its partners and advertisers better target announcements in Go Mobile or Go Mobile Editor's Pick based on our subscribers' industries, job levels, and/or locations.

Subscribers are also asked to voluntarily provide their work mailing address, but such information is not required to subscribe.

MobileVillage does not disclose any of its subscribers' names or contact information, including email or postal addresses, to its advertisers or any other third party. Subscriber information is always provided on an aggregate basis -- e.g. how many subscribers we have, and which companies, industries, and/or locales they represent. We will never share with anyone your full identity or contact information as a subscriber without your personal approval.

Log Files

MobileVillage uses IP addresses to diagnose server problems, analyze trends, administer the site, and/or gather demographic information for aggregate use.

IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

MobileVillage only shares aggregated web traffic statistics with partners and advertisers. This information can not identify any individual person.

MobileVillage has standard security measures in place to protect the loss and misuse of sensitive information.

Cookies

Unlike many other sites, MobileVillage does not use cookies to collect visitors' information.
